For the energy commodity group, under the control of the purchasing manager, the energy senior Buyer contribute to : – Define the commodity strategy on his area, analyzing industry and its demand trends, develop and implement sourcing strategies. – Manage his supplier panel relationship – Manage the performance of his supplier Panel and resolving issues and concerns. – Source new supplier on his domain – Be the purchasing interface of the project and engineering during the development phase from supplier nomination up to start of production – Manage contract relationship and negotiation with supplier during bid – Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. – Researching and identifying prospective suppliers. – Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements. – Financial reporting We are looking for a motivated energy Senior buyer to manage our company’s procurement activities. The Buyer responsibilities include sourcing new suppliers at the best QCDP (quality compliance, cost standards and delays) and meeting program price target, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance. To be successful as an energy buyer, you should be able to develop efficient procurement solutions and support purchasing manager with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. Ultimately, the buyer should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be an analytical thinker.
